This utility can be accessed by anyone, who is a member of the Tracker – Administrator distribution list, from the TrackerOffice desktop Administration menu – “Archive Customers”.
The utility will popup a new window and then will search through all of the customers and render the customers which do not have any projects listed under them.
If a customer is selected to be archived then the following sequence occurs:
1. The Tracker – Archives folder under the Site folder(e.g. Tracker – MySite) is created if it does not exist.
2. The Tracker – Customers folder is created under the Tracker – Archives folder if it does not exist.
3. The selected customer has its customer information posted to sql and marked as archived in sql.
4. The customer folder and subfolders is copied to the Tracker – Site/Tracker – Archives/Tracker – Customers folder
