The utility will popup a new window and then will search through all of the projects and render the projects which have been marked closed (A project can be marked closed by either marking it closed in the Project Overview document on the first tab or by completing a Project Status report which indicates that the project is closed).

The TrackerOffice SQL Agent is usually set to run nightly, but it must be run (on schedule or manually) after the Project(s) are marked completed and before they are archived.

If a project is selected to be archived then the following sequence occurs:
1. The Tracker – Archives folder under the Site folder(e.g. Tracker – MySite) is created if it does not exist.
2. The Tracker – Projects folder is created under the Tracker – Archives folder if it does not exist.
3. The selected project has its budget and project information posted to sql and marked as archived in sql.
4. If this project is listed under a customer then the reference to the project under the customer is deleted.
5. The project folder and subfolders is copied to the Tracker – Site/Tracker – Archives/Tracker – Projects folder
This utility can be accessed by anyone, who is a member of the Tracker – Administrator distribution list, from the TrackerOffice desktop Administration menu – “Archive Projects”.
