First see if the http task is already running by typing "show tasks" at the Domino console window. If you don't see an entry "HTTP Server Listen for connect requests on TCP Port:80," try to load the task by typing "LOAD HTTP." If you get an error (perhaps "Port 80 not available") check to see if the World Wide Web Publishing service is running on your machine. Look at Services (Go to Control Panel, Adminstrative Tools, Services) and verfiy that if you have the service listed it is not set to start Automatically and that it is presently stopped.
